We drive past the Shell Gas Station in Manhattan Beach, at the corner of Sepulveda and Manhattan Beach Boulevard, at least a couple of times a week. Over the weekend, owner Steve Grossi put up this humorous sign when he ran out of gas to sell. Shell is selling the property. Grossi has operated the station for over a decade. More »
I’m glad I filled up the gas tank when I did because the news channels were all reporting that a temporary hiccup in gas supply means prices will go higher still.
Another gas price check site I found was Automotive.com, although the site is sponsored by Shell and it just so happened that Shell gas prices were marked as “the Lowest” for 2 categories. The caveat is that the time updated differs by up to 24 hours, which may explain the difference in gas prices, and the prices reported on the Gas Buddy website is from citizens.
