Fiesta Hermosa occurs twice a year and is happening right now over Memorial Day weekend at the Hermosa Beach pier! Coca Cola is giving away free Vault drinks and Carnation is giving free coffee samples. clown.gif I started taking Southbay Adult School’s Beginner Comedy Improv this spring. When I signed up for the class, I really had no idea what improv actually was. I never watched “Whose Line is It, Anyway?” Now I can appreciate comedians’ skill and courage. I can tell you from personal experience that the level of anxiety from the fear of screwing up in front of everyone is rivaled only by actually screwing up in front of everyone. I’m amazed that it’s possible to be more brilliant when you’re spontaneous and not thinking, than when you’re premeditating every analytical move. I only know this seems to often be the case!
